“The program of cooperation with non-resident Iranian specialists and entrepreneurs” was the second volume of a book that presents a clear image of the reality of migration of educated students. The book focuses on the evaluation of the program implemented for several years to return Iranian experts to the country.

The ecosystem of innovation and technology has properly grown in the past few years with support provided from various organizations. In this regard, several non-resident Iranian researchers have returned to the country and made great improvements in the area of startup and knowledge-based activities.

In a situation where unreliable news is trying to provide incorrect statistics on the migration of educated students, it is good to take a look at the statistics of the return of specialists and researchers to the country. Specialists who returned to the country and helped the technology and innovation ecosystem.

Therefore, the second volume of the book gathered by a group of experts of Iran Migration Observatory focuses on the cooperation with non-resident Iranian experts and entrepreneurship. The program is designed to benefit from the knowledge and experience of Iranian researchers and specialists abroad in the form of programs such as postdoctoral fellowship, study opportunities, invited professors and the establishment of technology companies.

A look at the statistics of return of Iranian experts to the country and using them in various scientific and technological fields is one chapter of this interesting book that provides a clear image of the topic. According to the statistics presented in this book, with the creation of appropriate infrastructure, the participation of more than 4,700 Iranian specialists and researchers abroad in this program has been done and more than 1,200 Iranian researchers from the world"s top universities are currently involved. They have returned to the country. The book describes in detail the programs, such as the number of technological projects, institutions, and centers that employ these full-time employees.

Also, in the tables, it is shown with detailed explanations that the cooperation with Iranian researchers and specialists returning to the country has a high growth rate in various fields, and this statistic has been presented separately for each year.

In a part of the book, the program is reflected in the foreign media, all of which directly and indirectly pointed to the success of the Islamic Republic of Iran"s government program in encouraging Iranian experts abroad to cooperate and return to Iran.
